So Much Beauty & Abundance Around You – Are You Letting It In?

 BeautifulSunset9-24-06-full

Have you ever experienced something so beautiful that it took your breath away? Have you ever tried to share that experience with another and realized that they simply weren’t experiencing the same “beauty” that you were? You know that they were right there viewing the same thing that you were, but they simply weren’t experiencing it like you were. For you it was amazing, but for them it was simply “pretty”.

The beauty was there for both of you, but you were the one that was in the vibrational vicinity of the beauty and could fully allow and receive this special gift from the universe.

Abundance is like that beauty….It’s there all the time. There is so much evidence in nature, and there is no doubt that the world is awash with money. The question is, are you letting it in???

Are Spiritual People Violent?

Spiritual people can be some of the most violent people you will ever meet. Mostly, they are violent to themselves. They violently try to control their minds, their emotions, and their bodies. They become upset with themselves and beat themselves up for not rising up to the conditioned mind’s idea of what it believes enlightenment to be. No one ever became free through such violence. Why is it that so few people are truly free? Because they try to conform to ideas, concepts, and beliefs in their heads. They try to concentrate their way to heaven. But freedom is about the natural state, the spontaneous and un-self-conscious expression of beingness. If you want to find it, see that the very idea of “a someone who is in control” is a concept created by the mind. Take one step backward into the unknown.” Adyashanti

BeatYourselfUp

How do you feel when you read the words from Adyashanti above?  My first thought was, “wait a minute, the spiritual people I know aren’t violent”,  and I’m spiritual and I don’t think of myself as “violent”.  But then as I read further I realized that I certainly have “beat myself up” at times for not responding spiritually to a situation, or for simply “re-acting” in the same old way, even though I now know better.

My “conditioned” mind now accepts that I am the creator of my reality, but it also uses that knowledge to demonstrate my lack of control when it comes to reacting to my creations.  I’m often quick to judge a work in progress, instead of relaxing and trusting that all is well.

When I attempt to judge and control the unfolding, I move further and further from the vibrational vicinity of what I have been trying to create.  The ego/mind loves to take charge and control how our manifestations will occur.  It wants to “help” the process along, and make sure that the universe “does it right”. How crazy that the ego mind believes that it can do a better job than the organizing power of the universe.  Yet trust and surrender seem to equate to giving up on what we are wanting, and we simply aren’t willing to do that.  (Even when the very act of controlling it actually keeps it from showing up).

It truly is a leap of faith to trust the process, and to know that everything is unfolding perfectly…especially when there isn’t any evidence in our current reality.  It is at these times that we need to affirm the truth of who we are, and our role as co-creators in this cooperative universe.

We need to understand that we are vibrational beings, and that we create through vibration, not through action.  We need to trust our own internal guidance system, and acknowledge that when we feel good we are headed in the right direction.

As we learn to let go and trust that everything is unfolding perfectly, then we open the door to allow our higher self and intuition to light our way.  The right action steps are revealed, and we work with the flow of creation instead of trying to “make it happen”.

Life unfolds with grace and ease, and as we look around in gratitude we see that we already have all that we were asking for.   How amazing that it showed up when we were even paying attention!

There was a time when I remember thinking, “How can I ever create the life of my dreams when I am powerless to control all these thoughts?”….

The Spiritual Law of Attraction is working in your life, whether you believe in it or not. Every experience that you have had right up until this moment, has positioned you to be right here, right now, in the perfect place to create the life of your dreams. You have arrived at this magical place equipped with the desires that have caused you to ask for something more. It Is Your Independence Day!

Today, July 4th, 2009, I claim my independence from lack, and re-claim my power as a conscious creator.  I acknowledge my power  to consciously create the life of my dreams.  I recognize that my thoughts, feelings and beliefs have created the “world” that I currently see around me, and that I have the power to change those thoughts feelings and beliefs.  I acknowledge that I now have the freedom to choose what it is I am wanting, and expect the universe to provide the path to it’s physical manifestation.

(This from The Abundance Book by John Randolph Price) :

“Today, I cease believing in visible money as my supply and my support, and I view my current world of effect as it truly is… simply an outpicturing of my former beliefs. I believed in the power of money, therefore I surrendered my God-given power and authority to an objectified belief. I believed in the possibility of lack, thus causing a separation in consciousness from the Source of my supply. I believed in mortal man and carnal conditions, and through this faith gave man and conditions power over me. I believed in the mortal illusion created by the collective consciousness of error thoughts, and in doing so, I have limited the Unlimited. No more! This day I renounce my so-called humanhood and claim my divine inheritance as a Being of God. This day I acknowledge God as my supply and my support.”

A “Fruitful” Spiritual Lesson

Have you ever eaten a pomegranate?  Dating back to 3000 B.C., it’s one of the oldest cultivated fruits.  In fact, when I went to the King Tut exhibit I was amazed to see that He and other Ancient Egyptians were buried with pomegranates so they would have them in their “second life”.

This ancient fruit has a rich history with many references in art, religion, and medicine.    Scientists are now calling it a “super food”, and have found that it has more anti-oxidants than red wine or green tea.  It is loaded with vitamins, and recent studies have shown it to help with heart disease, cancer, longevity and more.  The ancient Chinese see the pomegranate as the symbol of longevity, immortality and abundance.

The name “pomegranate” is derived from a Latin word that means “apple with many seeds”.  Many people are now drinking pomegranate juice, but the fruit itself isn’t that popular.  It simply takes too much work to separate that sweet, juicy fruit from all those seeds.   pomegranate200

As I was eating my pomegranate I noticed how each little seed looked like a ruby, shining with the juice that surrounded each one.  When you pop it in your mouth the sweet juice is incredible, yet it would be very easy to simply focus on the seed instead.  In fact, in any moment you could decide to give your attention to the seed, and decide that the benefit is simply not worth the effort.

I thought about how my life is like that pomegranate.  When I “open it up” and look inside I see the seeds of every experience that I have created in my life.  There are thousands of them, all surrounded by a tough, thin skin, and supported by the “membranes” of my thoughts and beliefs.

I thought about how in each one of those moments I have the choice to either focus on the “seed”, or to give my full attention to the “juicy goodness” that surrounds it.  In the times that I focus on the juice, the universe responds fully and I attract more into my life.  I receive the feeling of joy, vitality, excitement, enthusiasm, and I can’t  wait for the next seed to experience more.

When I focus on the seed alone, I see what is wrong in each experience, and give my attention to what I don’t like or want.  My conscious mind concentrates on how to change, fix or control it.  When I can’t “see” a way to do that, I experienced fear, worry, struggle, and life is “dry” and flavorless.  I  go through the motions, but my attention, feelings and emotions  continue to attract more of the same.

In each joyful moment of my life I had been focused on the “juicy goodness” that was available in that moment.  I had given my focus and attention to the “juice”, and I had sucked every drop out of the experience.  I would focus on the joy and the beauty, and as gratitude filled the cells of my being, I asked and expected even more.

It’s amazingly simple.  Every moment, every experience is a gift.  It truly is the precious “present”.  Your work is to be present in that moment, and to give your attention and focus to the part of the experience that contains the juicy goodness.   If you can’t immediately “taste” it, then look to your imagination for the flavor.  Allow the experience to define what you would prefer, and realize that you can still savor the goodness in your mind.

It is work to “eat the pomegranate”.  But the nourishment is worth it, and as you practice and get the hang of it, you begin to realize that you love the process.  It’s fun to experience each seed and see it as the gift of life.

I invite you to join me in experiencing each moment as the amazing fruit that nourishes your life.  Realize that you have a choice in each moment, and that you have the power to shape your experience through your focus.  Remember the pomegranate, and give your attention fully to the goodness that is found in each experience. Savor the “juicy goodness”, and let it fill you with joy.  Let the juice fill your mouth and “run down your chin”.  Let the world see how amazing life tastes, and share a “bite” of your joy.

The “Secret” to Network Marketing Success

Many of you know that I have been in network marketing for over 20 years!  I guess that gives away my age a bit, doesn’t it?  Oh well, it’s posted on Facebook anyway!

I absolutely love the industry and have watched it change lives!  It truly is the quickest and most realistic road to wealth for the average person.

It’s network marketing that helped me discover my passion to inspire, motivate and encourage others to realize their personal power and create the life of their dreams.  The more I learned, the greater the hunger to understand mindset, law of attraction and the role that beliefs play in the wealth building process.   I have often said that I can show people how to be successful in network marketing, but it’s your beliefs and feelings that will ultimately determine the level of success that you reach and maintain.  It is important to choose the right business, and have the right marketing structure in place, but even with those important pieces of the puzzle, you can sabotage your success and fail if you are focused on lack or why your business won’t work.

That is why I decided to write this blog.  I wanted to help folks deal with their beliefs first, and then mentor them in the practical action steps that are required to build a successful enterprise.  I have watched the industry change in many ways, and have discovered that some of the “tried and true” methods of the past simply aren’t as effective as they used to be.  Yet many sponsors continue to coach their new team members in the same methods and strategies that we used prior to these days of the internet and Web 2.0.  There are simply new, better and more effective ways.

I’m also thrilled to see a movement toward more conscious networking.  Honesty, integrity, listening and offering solutions is now replacing the idea of “doing the numbers”, false claims, and partial truths.  The idea that you need to sell and convince people to join your business or buy your products simply doesn’t work in building a strong team and creating a long term residual income.  People want to join people they can trust, and they want to buy, but don’t want to be sold or convinced.

There are a few things that I believe are crucial if you truly want to create wealth in your networking business:

#1 Have a Mentor – Find out what the successful people are doing, and copy their success.  Your mentor may be your sponsor, but in my case often wasn’t.  I know that my mentor’s guidance was priceless, and made a huge difference in my enterprises.

#2 Positioning – You need to become a leader and position yourself as someone that YOU would want to have as a business partner.  If you are marketing online, then you need to have an online presence other than the “replicated web site” the company provides.  Make yourself stand out from the crowd and like minded people will be attracted to you.

#3 Analyze Your Strengths and Weaknesses – You will be the CEO of your enterprise.  The CEO doesn’t know everything and do everything well. But they do surround themselves with people who know what they don’t.  They also hire or outsource the work that is technical or not income producing.  You should definitely be moving in that direction.

#4 Marketing Plan – Your marketing plan should be  written, tailored to your budget, and should include low cost, no cost and paid methods of advertising and/or driving traffic.  There should be a detailed marketing plan regardless of your budget.

#5 A Lead Capture Method or System – You need a way to capture those who have responded and indicated interest.  Most people don’t buy until they have had 6-8 exposures to the offering.  In addition, you can market other products to the individuals that don’t join your business.  This can give you the necessary capital to get your business off the ground. This list is a goldmine, and will be valuable for years to come.

Prosperity consciousness along with the right action steps will lead you to the life of your dreams.  The only missing component is your ability to intend it, visualize it, and expect it.
