Trip To The River of Abundance

River1

I went to the edge of the river of abundance and was amazed at the sight.  I expected it to be much smaller.  In places, I could hardly see the other side.  I set down on the bank and watched as people approached with containers to take home the amount that they felt they deserved and would use.  It was amazing to watch them come and go.

Some carried little, tiny teaspoons and walked carefully, so none would spill over the edge. Others came with huge containers, spilling it everywhere as they walked back to their world.  I heard a huge commotion over head and a helicopter lowered a bucket into the river.  You know the kind, they use it to carry water to fight forest fires.  He filled the bucket and flew away as abundance trailed across the land along the river.

Some people ran from their houses and stood in the shower falling overhead.  They praised God for their good luck and tried to collect all that they could as it fell from the sky overhead.   Had they never been to the river that lies just beyond the thoughts of limitation in their minds?

Rainingabundance

I walked to the mouth of the river and stood in awe of the sight.  It was backwards from everything that I believed.  The river didn’t wash into the ocean, but instead the ocean filled the river.  Each wave replenishes the supply and keeps the river lapping at the flood stage of the bank.

Low tides come and go, as we block the flow,  but the source of our abundance is guaranteed.  It’s the same source that manifests into the individualized you and me. A mighty sea of love that is made up of all that is.  How can you not be part of that all?  How can you truly be separate from everything that you are and all that is destined to be yours?

Yes, it’s really true.  The very ocean from which we came is our supply.  There can never be any lack.  So, my question for you is, what size container will you fill at the river’s edge, and how many times will you return??

I love it!! The whole just resonates with me, the imagery for your mind is so perfect. the pictures help, yes? but the words used to describe it all, do it so totally and beautifully that the pictures were an added touch.

    Brilliant article!

    Dearest Debbie.

What a wonderful Article this is. I love the way you have used the analogy of the open waters of nature to the abundant flow of the universe. Simply Delightful.

By The Way I have missed you too. Have been very busy as well as was down with a snuffling nose and a bad back. However I am fit as a fiddle now. :)

We must catch up darling once again.

Till Then, remember as you act so you attract.

    Yours in Abundance and Prosperity.

    Tallyho!

This is so true and wonderful! I used to come back to the river (God) when I needed to – when I was depleted. And I let myself get pretty low!

But I have learned my best days start with God and I fill up regularly. When I’m really ‘in the flow’ I have myself open to receiving His gifts and abundance all the time-it just flows in. And I SEE it!

When I’m not receiving (or start to feel low) I recognize I must have put the lid on – time to open up and receive!

This made me feel so overjoyed!! I looked inside after reading and asked how I would arrive at the river. What I saw was me cresting the ridge with a whole host of folks with me. We formed a bucket brigade and soon huge buckets ere being passed up the line to reach others that so need to feel the abundance and as they do they join the line and send their portion on down a bit farther.

Debbie you are so precious. Thank you so much for the experience in words.
